Fluorescent Proteins |
Fluorescent proteins (e.g., EGFP) have become well established marker for gene expression and protein targeting in intact cells and organisms. BioVision offers the brightest Green / Red / Blue / Cyan / Yellow / mCherry fluorescence proteins that expressed from E. Coli. These recombinant proteins were purified using a proprietary technology that ensures highest purity and fluorescence intensity. Fluorescence proteins are very useful in gene expression and many other applications including: Use as standards for SDS-PAGE, Western blot analysis, fluorometer and flow cytometer calibration, fluorescence microscopy, and microinjection into cells and tissues, etc. The recombinant fluorescence proteins can also be conjugated to other proteins. Antibodies against these proteins and mammalian expression vectors, as well as GFP quantification kit area also available.
Protein A/G/L & Affinity Conjugates |
BioVision offers unique recombinant protein A, G, L. These genetically engineered proteins contain only the IgG binding regions and have 6X His-tag on their N-terminus. Other domains such as cell wall binding region, albumin binding region and other non-specific binding regions have been eliminated from all these three proteins to ensure the maximum specific IgG binding. The 6X His-tag on N-terminus of these proteins can be used for affinity purification or for protein A/G/L detection using anti-His-tag antibody (Cat.# 3998-100). These unique, high quality recombinant Protein A, G and L are produced in E. coli, and purified using multiple chromatographic steps (not affinity purified with human IgG). Purity is > 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC. Endotoxin level is < 0.05 EU/mg of Protein. Protein A, G and L bind to most mammalian immunoglobulins in their Fc binding domains and therefore are ideal for purification of polyclonal or monoclonal IgG antibodies. The combinations of Protein A/G and Protein A/G/L are also available, allowing the maximum recovery during antibody purifications.
